SYDNEY’S RAIN AND FLOODING LIKLEY TO TRIGGER MOULD OUTBREAKS

The ingress of water recent heavy rains and flooding has caused widespread building problems across Sydney, and the wider NSW coast.

Rain pouring in through roof leaks and flooding in at ground level will have caused building materials such as timber skirtings, plasterboard walls and ceilings to become wet.

This creates the perfect conditions for mould growth.

If wet buildings are not remediated correctly, Mould and other harmful microbes can proliferate within homes and commercial properties, causing significant damage to building materials and also to the health of building occupants.
